when i saw this car,i thought it was a Vega but then i knew what it really was thanks to the front badge,a 1977 Pontiac Astre coupe,as you know,this was based on the Chevrolet Vega,which was infamous for being a total piece of shit(i like the Vega's body style and all,but it can't run away from the mechanical problems.this one had a mean sounding V8 when it passed us when we arrived

The only way you could keep the Rust Devil away from this and similar cars was to spray the whole underside with used crankcase oil, and even that didn't last.
